The Threaded Beast

What started as a humble scrap of green wool quickly spiralled into a textured daydream. With wisps of silver wool and slivers of silk layered on top creating the contours of a tigers head. I stitched and stitched—meticulously, obsessively—as if painting with thread. Each mark is a tiny ode to craftsmanship, using playful stitch techniques to bring the surface to life. It was pure magic once I got going—I couldn’t put it down! A true labour of love, and honestly… the finished piece says it all.
